Ravens’ updated playoff picture

OWINGS MILLS — The Ravens picked up a key victory against the Rams in Week 14 and received help with their playoff position with losses by the Chiefs and Dolphins.

Baltimore now owns the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs with four games remaining.

The Ravens can also clinch a postseason berth in Week 15 if they beat the Jaguars on the road.

Here’s a breakdown of the top four seeds and their remaining schedules:

1. Ravens

Record: 10-3

Remaining schedule: at Jacksonville, at San Francisco, vs. Miami, vs. Pittsburgh.

2. Dolphins

Record: 9-4:

Remaining schedule: vs. New York Jets, vs. Dallas, at Baltimore, vs. Buffalo.

3. Chiefs

Record: 8-5

Remaining schedule: at New England, vs. Las Vegas, vs. Cincinnati, at Los Angeles Chargers.

4. Jaguars

Record: 8-5

Remaining schedule: vs. Baltimore, at Tampa Bay, vs. Carolina, at Tennessee.

“What we’re going to be focusing on is doing the best we can to win that game in what we’re going to consider a playoff type of an environment and a playoff type of a game – that kind of stakes,” coach John Harbaugh said about the remaining schedule. “So, that’s how our guys will look at it.” 

The Ravens have several playoff-clinching scenarios in Week 15, according to ESPN Stats Info that include:

1. Win over Jacksonville and losses by the Steelers (at Colts) and Bills (vs. Cowboys)
2. Win over Jacksonville and losses by the Steelers and Broncos (at Lions)
3. Win over Jacksonville and losses by the Bills, Bengals (vs. Vikings), Broncos, Colts, and Texans (at Titans).
